GRSS Webinar: Deep learning for remote sensing image analysis: applications, methods and perspectives

Deep learning (DL) algorithms have seen a massive rise in popularity over the past few years and have achieved significant success at many remote-sensing image analysis tasks. SenseTime is a leading global AI company focused on developing cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies driven by DL algorithms. SenseTime has developed DL algorithms and made them available in the package named SenseRemote®. This package will be introduced, including applications such as land cover classification, object detection, semantic segmentation, change detection and image super-resolution. This webinar will also include how best to deal with some significant issues in DL, for example, semi-automatic labeling, noise label learning and multi-task learning. The effectiveness of these algorithms will be shown by introducing practical applications, such as detection of illegal construction of buildings, protection of green spaces and other natural resources, etc.

SPEAKER’S BIO:
